How would you feel if you had a hit song come out and you were not making any money on i-tunes, due to piracy?

  1. Well considering im the best singer ever it would be pretty bad, and frustrating i would feel very ripped off and angry that all my hard work was for nothing

  2. I think piracy is a major issue, which is difficult to controll as there are so many illegal downloading websites which allow people to get them for free. Although not long ago a website "limewire" which got shut down when it was found to be letting people download for free.

  3. Robyn you are correct about 'limewire'. However I do think piracy will always be around because people are creating new illegal websites all the time.

  4. I believe that other people can't afford to buy the artists album/singles so they use for an example 'Limewire'where they can download songs for free. But on the other hand the singer isn't making any money at all.. i suggest that they should put the prices down so the piracy doesn't happen as much.

  5. I'd be devistated, but as long as there's an alternative way of getting a song other than spending money. It's a never ending problem.

  6. I would feel incredibly enraged and would have private investigators track down the culprit and have them arrested and sued.

  7. The problem is, people are quite happy to steal the music, but then will complain when in a few year's time, no artist will bother putting out new music because the costs involved in making the music are not matched by the sales that they get! The quality of music will go down, I think (although it's been going down ever since the 90's ended, haha)
